Job Description

Vaco is currently searching for an Accounts Payable Manager in the Lyndhurst, NJ area. Qualified candidates MUST have recent experience utilizing SAP (T-Codes) as well as managing a team. Compensation for this position can pay up to $30/hr+. Responsibilities will include EFT's, ACH's, month end, reconciliations, and handling payments.

  • Review payments for proper documentation/approval and coding
  • Perform AP processing, payment generation and reporting activities for specific deadlines
  • Investigate and resolve all Accounts Payable related issues
  • Provide exceptional customer service for any outside vendor inquiries
  • Vendor relations - being the go to person for complex questions and research
  • Weekly check runs
  • Ensures timely payment of vendor invoices through 3 way matching of purchase orders, invoices, and receipt
  • Manage payables, lead SOX compliance in the departments, reporting and communication of the results, and corresponding analysis
  • Monitoring all payment authorizations to payment completion
  • Ensures vendor account maintenance is kept accurate
