Job Description

Our client, located in New York, NY is adding a Accounts Payable Manager to the team, Advertising industry experience necessary.

In this role the ideal candidate will be responsible for but not limited to:

  • Processing all incoming invoices received by mail and electronically for payment in system working with NetSuite
  • Managing the corporate credit card accounts and payments and work will all banks and ACH programs to ensure proper handling of all Accounts Payable transactions
  • AP experience must include paying vendor invoices and working with purchase orders and reconciliations within Netsuite
  • Reconciling vendor statements and ensure financial deadlines of accounts payable are met for financial closings
  • Preparing vendor setup files (W9s, W-8BENs, banking information) and validate year-end reporting (1099's)
  • Identify opportunities and implement process improvements for efficiency and accuracy as well as Develop and maintain KPI's and metrics of the AP process
  • Managing employees including training, performance evaluation, and career development and serve as the main point of contact for vendors and internal staff regarding payables

Requirements for the position include:

  • A minimum of 3 years experience processing Accounts Payable in a Media/Advertising Industry
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel and NetSuite programs (minimal experience with NetSuite for 2 years)
