Job Description

Vaco is seeking an Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk to join a team of highly skilled professionals in a stimulating work environment. The candidate in this role will work closely with and report to the Accounting Manager. Other responsibilities include attending to the general administrative needs of the AP/Finance Department,. Matching and batching code, resolving A/P issues, processing expense reports, updating and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L and processing checks are integral functions for this position. This Accounts Payable Clerk role will be located in the West LA area and will be a temporary position with an opportunity to turn permanent for the right candidate.


  • Handle the customer service needs of internal business partners
  • Provide administrative assistance to the AP/Finance Department
  • Conduct full-cycle A/P
  • Carry out daily processes and controls accurately and on time, and ensure compliance with company policies
  • Complete special projects on an as-needed basis
  • Assist with internal and external audits as needed - AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred
  • Strong familiarity with numeric data entry
  • Articulate customer service and interpersonal skills, especially when interacting with those in the technical and financial backgrounds
  • Spreadsheet and database capabilities
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement
