Accounts Payable Supervisor in Irving, TX at Vaco

Job Description

Vaco has been tapped on the shoulder to assist with an Accounts Payable Supervisor opening for one of our Irving clients. This position will oversee 3 specialists and report to the Accounting Manager - they will be supporting accounts payable functions for the corporate Executive, HR and Legal teams.

The company itself has seen unprecedented growth in the last year and a half - as a publicly-traded company with diversified holdings, stock is sitting at all-time highs and they continue to track upwards.

**Position is on-site

(Some) of your day-to-day:

• Supervising processing of non-PO invoices
• Ensure vendor communication is followed-up on
• Monthly accounting journal entries in regards to accruals and deposits
• Balance sheet reconciliations related to AP
• Research payment variances and discrepancies
• Oversee CapEx spend invoicing

This is a high-volume, fast-paced environment. Because the Accounts Payable Supervisor will be regularly interfacing with executives, professional communication, both written and verbal, is an absolute must.
