Job Description

Vaco is currently seeking accounting professionals for an Accounts Receivable position for a client located in Pinellas County.

The Accounts Receivable Specialist will support the finance and accounting team by processing and managing accounts received and providing financial, clerical, and administrative services to complete efficient, timely, and accurate payments on accounts, and will report to the Accounts Receivable supervisor.

Responsibilities

  • Create and send out invoices
  • Assist with 1099 reporting
  • Contact and collect payments from customers
  • Fulfill billing, collection, and reporting activities while meeting deadlines
  • Perform reconciliations on accounts
  • Resolve payment discrepancies
  • Process credit card payments
  • Assist with month-end closing

Job Requirements

Minimum of three to five years of corporate collections experience including interaction with a diverse, multi-national customer base. Proficiency in SAP, Oracle, and Microsoft Office including Excel.
