As an Active Directory Engineer, you will configure, install, troubleshoot, and repair network and systems infrastructure solutions. You will be responsible for remote or onsite service requests and assistance on routine computer support issues according to urgency.

Active Directory Responsibilities

  • Lead, operate and continuously improve the AD environment on a global scale
  • Provide architecture guidance regarding changes and enhancements to Active Directory
  • Identify technical and security risks and develops mitigation strategies
  • Work with business teams, service leads, and stakeholders to determine business needs and define requirements for operations and projects
  • Manage and maintain standardized Organizational Units (OU) in Active Directory
  • Manage and maintain Active Directory custom attributes and security groups
  • Manage Active Directory sites and subnets, including site replication
  • Manage and maintain group policy, and scripts associated with group policy
  • Monitor Domain Controllers to prevent outages and/or restore service as quickly as possible, review the properties currently monitored, and make recommendations as needed to provide meaningful alerts for action
  • Manage and implement system hardening activities based on documented standards such as CIS and STIG guides
  • Audit changes to accounts, group policy, and other changes to Active Directory with enterprise auditing tools
  • Follow Change Management Policy when changing the IT infrastructure
  • Manage external vendors to support all aspects of operations

Identity and Access Management Responsibilities

  • Manage Azure AD cloud instance relating to Identity and Access Management, to include, single sign-on, multi-factor authentication, user provisioning/deprovisioning, license assignment
  • Develop and maintain the Identity and Access Management Architecture and standards
  • Administer directory services, identity governance, and application access management
  • Expand capabilities within companies' technologies to automate processes on/off boarding
  • Provide evidence and process documentation for Identity and Access Management services activities
  • Support IT applications as it relates to Identity and Access Management integrated systems
