Vaco Richmond is seeking an Administrative/Billing Assistant for one of our clients in the Richmond area!
Job Responsibilities include:

Assisting with billing:

  • Assist with Medicaid billing
  • Research claim denials
  • Post payments
  • Assist with monthly billing

  • Credentialing process:

  • Assist with onboarding of newly licensed staff into credentialing process
  • Update database on licensed providers
  • Assist licensed providers to obtain certain documents and information
  • Maintain packet of applications for private insurance panels for all sites

  • Administrative duties:

  • Post payments for all private insurance claims
  • Post remittances
  • Post invoices
  • Filing duties, as needed
  • Maintain purchase orders and invoices
  • Maintain company credit card records and reconciliations
  • Ensure proper approval process is adhered by on all AP/credit card activity

  • Miscellaneous duties:

  • Assist with insurance information, i.e. coverage limits, deductibles, co-pays, co-insurance
  • Assist with monthly reporting
  • Monthly reconciliations
  • Ad hoc projects, as needed
