Job Description

Our client, located in Denville, NJ is adding a Administrative Assistant (Financial Services) to the team in support of the Broker Dealer.

In this role the ideal candidate will be responsible for but not limited to:

  • Assist advisors with client account questions, transfers, brokerage operations, processes and procedures
  • Answer questions and provide support to advisors regarding the navigation of back office systems
  • Accurately and efficiently set up new accounts as well as prepare and mail clients documents and forms
  • Process clearing firm requests (Checks, Fed Wires, and ACH)
  • Assist newly hired advisors with transition needs
  • Enter in client account information into database and respond to e-mails and calls from field advisors
  • Ensure an efficient process for a smooth transition for all aspects of Operations
  • Heavy administrative duties

Requirements for the position include:

  • 5-10 years experience in the Financial Services Industry
  • Detail oriented, Strong analytical and problem solving skills along with a good personality
  • Proficiency with Excel required and Quick Books a plus
  • Series 7 and series 24 is a plus
  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting
