Job Description

VACO is currently in need of an experienced Administrative Assistant in the Bridgewater, NJ area. As the Assistant, your day to day functions will include a variety of clerical functions, including, but not limited to managing calendars for partners, preparing correspondence, monthly billing, dealing with client needs, data entry, photocopying, scanning, learning administrative functions related to tax work. Must be willing to work as part of a team - exhibit interpersonal skills, show initiative, and able to work independently with minimal supervision; must be able to juggle competing demands and workloads. Must have a positive attitude and a strong willingness to learn and be cross trained. Strong communication skills both written and verbal.

Qualifications but not required:

  • Professional services firm or corporate experience
  • Experience with ProSystem Accounting Software or prior experience in an accounting firm or law firm
  • Experience with Microsoft Office

Bookkeeping or accounting experience (clerical related)
