Job Title: Administrative Assistant
Location: Birmingham, AL

We have an immediate need for an Administrative Assistant for one of our clients in the Birmingham area. The incumbent Administrative Assistant will manage the overall administration of the office as well as handle general clerical duties, monitoring expenses associated with projects, document preparation and modification, meeting coordination, invoice processing internet-based research and maintaining office supply inventories.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage department invoices - perform some auditing/checking functions, route to appropriate project manager for approval, and send to accounting for payment
  • Maintain development and project files for the department
  • Coordinate meetings and travel arrangements for the department
  • Gathering and organize documentation

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Prefer 2+ years' experience
  • Bachelors Degree or relevant experience required
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to effectively handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines
