Job Description

Vaco is searching for an Administrative Assistant for a great client of ours in their Athens location. This is a contract role that is 2 weeks long and could be extended. This position will require the employee to work on Saturdays with 1 day off during the week. The pay range is $13-$14/hr depending upon experience.

Key Results Expected (Essential Job Duties):

  • Assist in consolidating vendor invoices for approval and payment
  • Assist in the asset management (e.g., copiers, desktop computers, etc.) inventory process
  • Assist with postage management and other office management type responsibilities (office supplies etc).
  • Scheduling, Email, Travel and Calendar Management and Event Planning for company executives
  • Assist with analytical analyses (Excel) and executive presentations (PowerPoint) for Company
  • President to gain knowledge of core company operations
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Conducts all assignment as professional and role model with sense of urgency
  • Uses professional communication and conflict resolution techniques as required
  • Reference and reflects upon company mission, value, and strategic imperatives in completing and/or assigning all work

Minimum Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of general office experience required
  • High school diploma
  • Proficiency in use of Microsoft Windows, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines with a sense of urgency
  • Conflict management skills
