Job Description

As the Affiliate Manager, you are the primary point of contact for our external affiliate partners. Managing these relationships and effectively communicating with these partners is a huge part of your role. You will also strategically identify, screen and develop relationships with new affiliate partners through networking and research.

You will become an expert on what marketing efforts are working in the field, not only by analyzing our marketing data but also by researching competitive offers and having ongoing discussions with external partners. Developing new affiliate creatives and assets is also part of helping our affiliates succeed.

A high level of precision and attention to detail is needed for this role - the Affiliate Manager is not only responsible for supplying the correct tracking information to affiliates, but also for calculating and organizing affiliate payments based on marketing results and sending them over to the accounting department - any mistakes can be extremely costly.
Affiliate management experience is preferred, but relevant experience will also be considered.

Primary Responsibilities:

Grow revenue
* Increase affiliate revenue by building authentic relationships and optimizing performance
*Collaborate with internal Digital Marketing teams on testing, reporting, and analysis to be able to provide the best possible recommendations for affiliates
*Drive and promote new affiliate creative, assets, content and promotions to help our affiliate base succeed with traffic and conversion rate goals
*Develop and implement affiliate contest ideas to drive volume
*Recruit high-value affiliates through research, referrals, networking and other avenues
*Create and distribute 1:1 emails keeping partners abreast of the latest product updates, incentive programs, creative launches and program changes
*Define and execute affiliate strategy and work with product and creative teams to execute messaging and creative
*Update, manage and oversee products, content, and links within our affiliate software platform
*Manage incoming affiliate needs and questions
*Act as primary liaison between affiliates and our internal management / finance / development teams
*Evaluate applications and monitor transactions to mitigate the risk of fraudulent commissions
*Manage affiliate program including recruitment, evaluation, optimization, reporting and fraud monitoring/prevention
*Daily monitoring of media activity to identify potential program violations and take actions to correct
*Collaborate with various internal partners (i.e. marketing and tech teams) to manage the integration of affiliate tools
Skills/experience required:
*Experience in managing affiliates or working in data-driven direct response marketing preferred
*Possesses strong written and communication skills
*Demonstrated proficiency with general Microsoft Office applications
