Job Description/Overview:

The Allied Healthcare Recruiter will be a key member of the team that will source, manage and place relevant candidates for existing and new assignments throughout the company.

Responsibilities:

  • Sound knowledge and thorough understanding of internet recruitment resources
  • Advanced cold calling and recruiting skills, as well as demonstrated follow up ability on all recruitment activity
  • Intermediate level skills using MS Office software products (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills: ability to clearly and effectively communicate with candidates, clients and co-workers in an effective manor via phone, fax, and email to establish/maintain professional business relationships.
  • Excellent follow up and time management skills: must be able to work productively in a fast-paced sales environment with little direct supervision.
  • Ability to clearly and concisely draft various types of written correspondence
  • Critical role in connecting qualified personnel to ideal positions, creating a win-win solution
  • Masters the use of sourcing and recruiting strategies to identify and attract qualified candidates, and successfully connects them with our clients with a sense of urgency.
  • Possesses the ability to multi task and successfully prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced and ever-changing work environment.
  • Always be sourcing and recruiting quality candidates through networking events, employee referrals, job boards, social media presence, ad searches, career fairs, internet research and direct contact.
  • Collaborate with team members to clearly understand the client's needs, hiring objectives and requirements. Including intangible qualifications such as attitude and empathy.
  • Submit qualified candidates in timely fashion, providing all of the correct information requested to facilitate efficient hiring decisions.
  • Coordinate interviews and maintain expert level follow up activities for each candidate
  • Respect and guide your qualified candidates through the recruiting process, including evaluating and learning about their skillset and areas of expertise.
  • Guide your candidate through the interview process and master efficient salary negotiation.
  • Facilitate the offer process, including salary negotiations, benefits and other terms and conditions of employment.
  • Ensure all policies regarding pre-employment steps, including reference checks and background and drug tests are completed prior to job offers.
  • Manage your candidates through the hiring process
  • Conduct all interactions with professionalism and respect, regardless of the circumstances.
  • Stay ahead of current recruiting trends and always be recommending creative strategies to meet the future needs.
  • Responsible for completing the full cycle recruitment process, including extending employment offers and negotiating employment terms
  • Utilizes lead referral sources in addition to the company database to identify and recruit qualified healthcare professionals
  • Develops recruiting strategies necessary to attract, screen and retain qualified healthcare professionals.
  • Develops and maintains professional business relationships with all coworkers, candidates, current travel employees, and other Company staff members

Requirements:

  • BA/BS degree preferred, experience will be considered in lieu of degree
  • Minimum 2 or more years of professional experience in healthcare staffing, recruiting and professional sales environment.
  • Ability to develop, maintain and grow customer relationships through a consultative approach
  • Able to self-manage and prioritize initiatives while seamlessly performing in a team environment with a number of different priorities and various senses of urgency at each level
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an emphasis on professionalism
  • Strong internet research skills. Proficiency in MS office, including Word and Excel. Ability to grasp new technologies being used to recruit healthcare professionals.
