Job Description

Vaco is working with a client in Downtown Los Angeles to find an Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team full time. This person will join the accounts payable team to provide support to the facilities under the Accounts Payable Manager. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years' experience within accounts payable and possess general knowledge of accounting. Accounts Payable Specialist Responsibilities:

  • Invoice processing and coding
  • Timely and accurate posting of payments and receivables
  • Scanning and indexing of invoices and check requests
  • Review, sort and match invoices and check request
  • Data entry of invoices into accounting system for payment
  • Address invoice issues and seek resolutions
  • Handle special projects and other duties as identified by the AP Manager
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements

Accounts Payable Specialist Requirements:

  • 3-5 years' experience in accounts payable
  • Excel and MS proficiency
  • Great Plains, or a large ERP system preferred
