JOB SUMMARY

Vaco Technology is currently seeking qualified IT leaders for a Manager of Application Development with extensive experience leading enterprise-level IT Operations, for a local DFW-based client. Applicants must be legally eligible to work in the US, as our client is unable to sponsor at this time.

Location: Dallas, TX

Employment Type: Direct Hire

Compensation: $$$ Based on experience, $130,000 - $160,000 base salary + 10% annual bonus

Job Summary:

This leader will be responsible for leading application development team members and projects focused on leveraging cloud technologies to modernize and transform systems, as well as manage 3rd party integration vendor relationships. Must be an innovative professionals who excels in a fast paced Agile environment, driven to take action.

REQUIREMENTS:

* .NET Stack platform
* Azure PaaS - must have experience utilizing distributed systems (specifically Service Fabric) that makes it easy to package, deploy, and manage scalable and reliable microservices and containers. Also addressing the significant challenges in developing and managing cloud native applications
* Must have at least 3+ years of managing development teams and projects, to include working with development leads to conduct code reviews, architecture and performance evaluations, etc.
* Must have Technical Integrations experience, Microsoft Azure, iPaaS applications and data integration solutions experience
* Must be a hands-on leader with strong technical and business acumen. Not necessarily coding, but with architecture, code reviews, etc.
* Must have prior experience working with 3rd party integrators to manage technical discussions with partners and vendor relationship
o This will include: well-documented API's for consumption of data, etc.
o Leading and working with partners to consume API's and code to their API's
* Excellent communications skills, working directly with senior-level management, internal stakeholders, and distributed partners

PREFERRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

* Prior experience working with the following industries would be a huge plus: Benefits, Health Insurance, HRIS, or Payroll
* A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related fields
