Job Description

  • Leads and participates in efforts to develop and implement processes for application and system monitoring.
  • Monitor the internal software application, document/analyze problems and publish maintenance schedule. (maintaining system documentation)
  • Establishes, maintains and manages users AS400/S2K accounts(AS400 a Plus). Installs, modifies and maintains systems and utility software on server computer systems. Provides server support related to other software
  • Provide support for the application and systems. Must be able to support 24 x 7 or as required
  • Interacts with users and evaluates vendor products.
  • Perform daily, weekly and monthly scheduled (maintenance) tasks and perform necessary interventions.
  • Identify problems to be investigated if necessary.
  • Provide logging of all troubles, keeping inventory of equipment and equipment faults.
  • Provides advice and necessary training to end-users.
  • Maintains current training and knowledge of relevant technologies
