Vaco Orlando has a client with more than 90 bank clients in 40 states using their solution/services to provide automated payments processing services to their business clients. This position is responsible for supporting a proprietary, AWS hosted, banking software solution. Primarily, this position supports bank customers employees.
JOB DESCRIPTION
The person who best fits the position of Software Support Specialist will be part of a team that supports bank clients. The perfect candidate possess good listening skills is intuitive enough to ask fact finding questions and then work diligently to provide a solution that meets the users needs.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Call center telephone support
- Hardware and software troubleshooting and resolution
- The ability to manage projects with little supervision
- After hours support services are required on a rotational basis
QUALIFICATIONS
- Career minded and results oriented with little supervision
- Strong technical competency and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of MySQL preferred
- AWS infrastructure experience preferred
- Excellent phone etiquette
- Ability to multitask
- Ability to relate to non-technical users
- Knowledge of network security protocols, user-level access, and data encryption
- Experience working with Active Directory, Group Policies, User Setup, profiles, etc.
- An understanding of HTML and CSS preferred
- Good written and oral communication skills
