Job Description

Our client is looking for an Assistant AP Manager for a very large fast paced environment! The company is looking for an individual with a strong work ethic who can lead and mentor a large team!

Job Responsibilities

  • Help Supervise large AP staff.
  • Monitor performance by review of weekly & monthly benchmark reporting (ie. Invoice processing levels).
  • Liaison with internal accounting resolving vendor inquiries
  • Supervise the monthly vendor statement reconciliation and ensure timely delivery to the General Accounting Unit.
  • Responsible for AP systems team. Work closely with IT team and analysts to thoroughly test technological changes and developments within the ERP system.
  • Ensures all accruals are properly accounted for and ensures timely delivery to the General Accounting
  • Proactively identify areas of potential improvement for accounts payable department.
  • Acts as a point of contact with external vendors involved with the institution.

Qualifications

4-year college degree preferred in Business

5+ years of AP Management experience

SAP or large ERP system experience
