Job Description

Seeking an Assistant Controller for a South Bay real estate company. Responsibilities

  • Accounting functions in GL, AP, AR, Fixed Asset, and Payroll
  • Collaborate with divisions in Management, Corporate, and Productions
  • Serve as a partner and teacher to all levels
  • Manage and improve monthly close process to allow for monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reports
  • Work with external auditors to ensure successful audit results and compliance

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • CPA or have public accounting experience or have worked at a publicly traded company
  • 3+ years experience as an Accounting Manager for multiple entities/divisions
  • Experience working in the real estate and/or financial services/multi entity a plus
  • Experience within an environment with heavy controls.
  • Exerience witin a company that is compliant with SOX, SEC filer etc.
