Assistant Controller in Boulder, CO at Vaco

Job Description

Vaco is partnering with a technologically progressive organization that recently went public in the Boulder area looking to hire an Assistant Controller. It's a great opportunity to join a growing organization and build out a sound accounting infrastructure with a team poised for growth. The role reports directly to the CAO, oversees technical and operational accounting duties, and supervises a team of 2-3 individuals.

Qualifications include:

• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Bachelor's in Accounting required, Master's and CPA highly preferred
• Public accounting or combination of public accounting with industry experience preferred
• Previous management experience preferred
• Well-versed in accounting software and ERP systems
• Highly motivated and collaborative worker
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to communicate with all levels
