Job Description

Our client is looking for an Assistant Supply Chain Manager to join their team. This person will be responsible for the everyday operation efficiency of product movement, supply chain, and for the distribution centers supporting the retail division.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Implement appropriate practices, establish operational procedures, as well as identify and address operational problems in a timely fashion
  • Support and achieve corporate goals of a customer environment
  • Use technology for efficient and accurate assembly, shipping and receiving processes
  • Make sure that appropriate work methods are being followed and production rates are being achieved to control total operating costs
  • Provide an environment where the mind set of continuous and never-ending improvement is recognized
  • Supervise and train direct reports in the performance of their duties

Minimum Position Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years logistics experience
  • Ability to travel independently
  • Strong interpersonal skills and development of others
