Position Summary:

The Associate Recruiter position within our Vaco Technology practice will be responsible for new business development, strategic account and relationship management. The successful candidate will engage all appropriate levels of management to develop opportunities to increase and expand our client base and scope of services with both existing accounts and new prospects.

This individual works directly with Vaco team members and recruiters so good communication and teamwork is a must.

The Associate manages job requisition activity, client interaction and provides special additional support where required. As an integral part of the Vaco team, the Associate is at the "front of spear" seeking out and developing long term business relationships with senior-level decision makers.

Description:

The Associate Recruiter - Vaco Technology, is responsible for sourcing and screening technology professionals. Identifying, screening, and managing candidates and consultants for technology contract and permanent positions within the Technology division. This position works with one or more producers to fulfill open job orders while managing candidates throughout the hiring process.

Job Responsibilities

  • Sourcing and screening of potential IT candidates for contract and permanent openings with our clients
  • Performs interviews in-person, by phone, and/or web to assess suitable to positions.
  • Learn and understand all of Vaco Technologies' service offerings
  • Analyze candidate information to determine matches between candidates and job openings. Submit qualified candidates to open job requirements
  • Interview prospective candidates and educate candidates on company process
  • Update and track candidates in accordance to Vaco Technologies' standards
  • Responsible for processing and contacting qualified candidates who respond to Vaco Technologies via phone, email or web
  • Establish relationships with consultants/contractors in specified region(s) or with specified clients
  • Track job orders and initiate recruitment for new roles paying close attention to high priority situations
  • Coordinate or conduct screening activities (e.g., reference checks)
  • Responsible for increasing number of qualified applicants in database
  • Refer job order leads and hiring manager names to Account Managers
  • Be familiar with industry trends, including client, market and unemployment conditions
  • Be fully educated on account processes & policies to ensure 100% contract compliance
  • Track/communicate new technology trends
  • Strategize with team members; assist and backup absent colleagues
  • Attend training sessions, including those where active participation is expected
  • Meet or exceed weekly sales goal expectations
  • Maintains regular communication with candidates during and outside of the hiring process.
    • Develops a strong network of talent to increase referrals, leads, and ability to successfully fill positions.
    • Markets open positions via job postings, social media, networking events, and other methods.
    • Performs reference and background checks while managing applicant data within Bullhorn.
    • Presents qualified talent for open positions while also marketing candidates to the client manager.
    • Generates and shares leads from interviews with the sales team to increase sales.
    • Collaborates with teammates to fill other positions when appropriate.
    • Maintaining a database of critical information
    • Being the point person for candidates
    • Managing a book of business
    • Other duties as assigned.

Basic Skills:

Able to work with a sense of urgency and meet tight deadlines; Organized, detailed, and results‐driven. Must be able to manage time effectively and work independently without direct supervision. Ability to build lasting relationships built on honesty and integrity.

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Five (5) years of experience in the Staffing Industry experience required.
  • Must have working knowledge of MS Office Suite.
  • Experience with Bullhorn preferred.
