Job Description

Our client located in Chester, CT is adding a Audit Manager to the team.

In this role the ideal candidate will be responsible for:

  • Cash and accounts receivable confirmation.
  • Inventory price testing and observation.
  • Bank reconciliations and cash analysis.
  • Accounts Receivable and Payable testing
  • Fixed asset additions and retirements.
  • Income and expense analysis.
  • Analytical review procedures.
  • Document internal controls.
  • Perform internal control testing and tests of transactions.
  • Single audit program selection and testing.

Requirements for the position include:

  • Candidates must have Bachelors in Accounting.
  • Be proficient with software preferably ProSystem fx Engagement
  • Experience with tax returns and use of Ultra-tax software a plus.
  • 150 educational credit hours required.
  • Minimum 3+ years of public accounting experience with a diverse industry background. Experience in Not-for-profit and Governmental Industries a plus.
  • CPA credentials or in the process of completion of the CPA exam.
  • Must have personal vehicle, with flexibility to travel within the CT area. Travel to client sites is expected and will vary; typically ranges from 35-45% of the time.
  • Work well under pressure and with a team; able to meet deadlines with accuracy.
  • Additional responsibilities not listed above may be expected as needed.
