Vaco Triad is currently looking for a Benefits Administrator for one our clients in the Greensboro area.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Performs quality checks of benefits-related data.
  • Assists employees regarding benefits claim issues and plan changes.
  • Preparing deduction/contribution reports for each payroll.
  • Distributes all benefits enrollment materials and determines eligibility.
  • Enrolls employees with carriers and process life status changes.
  • Responds to benefits inquiries from managers and employees on plan provisions, benefits enrollments, status changes and other general inquiries.
  • Processes and administers all leave-of-absence requests and disability paperwork: medical, personal, disability and FMLA.
  • Effectively interprets FMLA and ADA implications as they relate to leaves of absences/disabilities.
  • Responds to 401(k) inquiries from managers and employees relating to enrollments, plan changes and contribution amounts. Manages the annual catch-up contribution enrollment.
  • Assists with the open enrollment process.
  • Provides necessary reports for allocation/billing charges.
  • Interacts with associates in a professional and pleasant manner to answer administrative questions related to pay, policies and procedures, and/or distribute work related documents, materials, and information.
  • Compiles, files, and safeguards employment, benefit, pay change, informational and other confidential documents and records in accordance with company policy.
  • Provides administrative support for recruiting activities and initiatives, including, but is not limited to posting job openings, attending career fairs, coordinating interviews, and generating offer letters for hourly associates.
  • Promotes positive associate and labor relations.
  • Overseeing the maintenance of employee benefits records through on-line data terminal/work station computer input.
  • Planning, organizing and directing the activities related to group health, group life, dental, vision, and insurance programs.
  • Reviewing and assuring compliance with Federal and Nevada statutes as it effects employee benefits.
  • Assigning priorities and deadlines.
  • Preparing special reports and records.
  • Coordinating work flow and procedures between Employee Benefits and other departments.
  • Acting as a liaison between all health plan representatives and employee benefits.
  • Preparing and developing communication and educational materials regarding the benefits package for all the insured employees, if needed.
  • Reviewing performance agreements with the flexible benefit plan administrator and participating as the client performance team member.
