Job Description



Responsibilities:

  • Communicate effectively both internally & externally regarding employee relations, HR compliance, benefits, payroll and other HR matters via email, phone, mail etc.
  • Recruiting: post job ad, source resumes, phone screen, recommend candidates and coordinate interviews
  • Discuss and determine salary compensation for all positions
  • Prepare offer letters and manage pre-employment process
  • Maintains FMLA paperwork and FMLA company binder
  • Address concerns and assist in researching complex HR issues in collaboration with the HR Team
  • Monitor the performance evaluation program and revises as necessary
  • Provide support for the various HR functions and contribute to other HR projects as needed
  • Update and maintain personnel files and other records
  • Process and track vendor invoices and payments
  • Track HR compliance reporting; ensure complaint with EEO regulations and all laws and regulations
  • Process expense reports, files EEO-1 report annually
  • Benefits administration, including enrolling new hires in 401K, claims resolution and communicating benefits information to employees
  • On-boarding: complete & process new hire paperwork, ensure I-9 compliance, Tennessee new hire reporting, and conduct credit and background checks
  • Off-boarding & termination process: conduct exit interviews and complete State of Tennessee and Georgia separation notices, termination from all benefits and process termination paperwork for payroll
  • Manage the clerical float pool: assigning to locations, approve time sheets, process employment agency invoices for payment

Requirements:
  • A Bachelors Degree in Human Resources or related field
  • Strong understanding in benefits administration
  • Strong computer skills required, with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel
  • Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively as part of a team
