Job Description

Vaco is helping a new client in Marietta find a new Bilingual (English / Spanish) Debt Collections Specialist. Soft collections only; this is more akin to a customer service role with the added collections element. Our client looks for employees for life as well; 100% Family Health Coverage is paid for (with a low deductible, major carrier health insurer). In addition there is no weekend work and training is offered. Pay is $20 - $22 per hour and for this position, a bi-lingual candidate is required.

Collections Agent/ Account Representative

Full Time Position. High Volume Finance company is looking for Energetic, Friendly Collections Representative to join their team.

MUST BE BILINGUAL and have great customer service experience. The position is full time and paid vacation time as well 100% employer paid family health insurance is available and there is no weekend work required. And the office atmosphere is terrific!

Job Summary

Responsible for reaching out to customers who are delinquent on their account, and work on getting them current using collegial methods (no hard collections). Develop relationships with customers and offer them innovative ways to get current.

Primary responsibilities

Call all customers in your queue that are past due

Inform clients of overdue accounts and amount currently owed.

Attempt to collect payment or make payment arrangements (using very collegial methods - there are no bonuses per-se for collections so we are not looking for aggressive collectors).

Ensure all customer information is correct, including phone numbers and addresses

Make detailed notes in customer relationship management (CRM) system

Make follow-up phone calls on customers that you must leave a message with

Maintain good customer service relations with customers, sales, and other members of this company

Can make over 100 phone calls per day

Use collaborative and tested methods in making collection calls with customers

  • Collections: 1+ years Preferred
  • Bilingual (English / Spanish) Required
  • Worked in corporate environment in the past including using a Customer Relationship Management system to document notes
  • Able to work full time (M-F) in office (hours 8-5 or 9-6 depending on shift). No weekend hours
  • Proficient with MS Office
  • Excellent verbal communication skills. Prior experience in a call center environment is a plus
