Job Description

Position Summary:

The Professional Logistics Services Advocate is responsible for creating the highest sustainable level of customer satisfaction with, and operation of products.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

Assist with the Outokumpu Mexico and the Washington Penn Plastics implementation and training of their carriers and supporting both shippers and their carriers before, during and after go-live

Work alongside the Professional Services Managers with account set up work for new clients

Support Thomas Steel Strip

Manage the new LTL process

Provide Client Support with answering phones, emails and chats.

Learning to investigate issues and problems using SQL

Manage the onboarding and training of new carriers for new clients

Generate reports and conduct analysis on the results for clients

Other Responsibilities:

Performs other duties as needed

Required Skills/Experience:

Bilingual in Spanish and English

Ability to make a range of decisions and escalating to manager when necessary as well as providing updates on a regular basis

Identifying possible cross-selling opportunities with existing clients as well as new clients through lead generation

Proven experience handling and effectively resolving client problems

Demonstrate strong attention to detail along with excellent organizational abilities

The drive and desire to learn and grow

Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and analytical skills

Ability to create and sustain positive relationships

Demonstrated ability to effectively multitask in a fast-paced changing environment

Team oriented, action oriented, and self-starter

Creative thinking and problem-solving ability

Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a TMS/Transportation/Logistics environment, preferred

Associates or Bachelor's Degree
