Job Description

Vaco Indianapolis has partnered with a construction company located on the NE of Indianapolis to fill a Bookkeeper role.

This position is contract to hire, and is a new position due to company growth!

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Review and collect on Accounts Receivable invoices. Process receipts and deposits of funds received and entry of cash receipts into Foundations software. Send out monthly statements to customers. Record weekly invoices and process for sending them out. Provide support for Accounts Payable. Enter, review and verify vendor payments and employee reimbursements. Attention to detail, accuracy and knowledge of correct expense coding is extremely important. Assist the accounting team in a/p functions. Complete entries for expenses for job related costs.

Must have 2+ years of bookkeeping experience, construction accounting preferred but not required.
Must be proficient in MS Excel.
