As a Bookkeeper, you will prepare tax returns, prepare financial statements, develop and maintain strong client relationships.

Additional responsibilities of the Bookkeeper Clerk include:

  • Preparation of complicated tax returns for clients
  • Research a variety of tax topics.
  • Resolve client conflicts with taxing authorities.
  • Preparation of compiled financial statements.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships.

Minimum Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting.
  • Prefer CPA or CPA candidate.
  • 3 years of tax experience in a public accounting setting preferred
  • Experience preparing complicated tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, trusts and estates.
  • Experience with various versions of QuickBooks.
  • Experience in G/L account reconciliations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office products. Technologically proficient. Ability to follow instructions. Possible limited local travel.
