Bookkeeper Job Responsibilities:
  • Monitors and inputs data into ERP system Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable (Invoices.)
  • Invoice against daily ship list, validate quantities shipped vs. ERP inventory. Enter daily packing slips and AP invoices. File ship receipt acknowledgements.
  • Generate and distribute weekly reports.
  • Maintain petty cash fund, transactions and records.
  • Resolve financial reporting issues.
  • Process incoming and outgoing checks.
  • Reconcile bank and payroll accounts
  • Posting journal entries as necessary for payroll and GL accounts
  • Investigate and resolve vendor billing issues
  • Perform month end close procedure and report processing
  • Perform payroll tax reporting, sales & use tax reporting, and 401K reporting
  • Monitor and report out on AR/AP activity; help resolve AR issues where practical (collection calls/e-mails with occasional slow payers)

Bookkeeper Job Requirements:
  • Associate's degree or higher highly preferred
  • 2+ Years of general accounting/bookkeeping experience required
  • Experience with SAGE preferred but not required
  • Must be an effective communicator and problem-solver
