Job Description

The primary responsibilities will be performing full charge bookkeeping duties. This position reports directly to the Controller. Candidates will perform the following duties:

  • Bank account reconciliations
  • Assist in the month-end closing process
  • Correspond with outside vendors regarding payment inquiries
  • Accounts Payable
  • Accounts receivable
  • Payroll processing/reviews
  • Record expenses
  • Post charges and apply cash to accounts
  • Monthly accruals and adjusting entries
  • Special projects as needed

Candidate should have:

  • Bachelor's degree is preferred but not required
  • 5+ years of accounting/bookkeeping experience at a small-mid size firm
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and/or QuickBooks
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
