Job Description

Our client, a well established National Firm located in New York, NY is adding a Bookkeeper the team.

In this role the ideal candidate will be responsible for but not limited to:

  • Prepare payments including wires, ACH payments, and checks as well as manage the calendar of current and/or recurring payments.
  • Write-ups of accounting from client bank activity.
  • Serve as a Liaison between clients and their advisors, including banking, investment, and insurance advisors.
  • Review and maintain tax records to facilitate preparation of tax returns for various individual, partnerships, LLC's, S Corps, trusts and charitable entities.
  • Oversee and manage the calendar of current and/or recurring payments.
  • Handle the bi-weekly and monthly payroll, including 401(k).

Requirements for the position include:

  • Bachelors degree and/or advanced certifications preferred.
  • 7 years of related bookkeeping experience.
  • Excellent Verbal and written communication skills as well as highly organizational skills.
  • Flexibility in schedule with the ability to work nights and weekends as needed.
