Job Description

Tasks:

  • Supports the daily processes, governance, and initiatives surrounding ERP and its associated applications
  • Performs business analysis and provides solutions through compiling and analyzing data, customer feedback, current configuration, and best practices
  • Determines how ERP can support re-engineering business processes
  • Analyzes and measures the effectiveness of existing business processes and develops sustainable, repeatable and measurable business process improvements
  • Develops and maintains process documentation and effectively shares it with stakeholders to ensure processes are known, understood and accepted

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of Strong Infor M3 experience required
  • 1+ year of Manufacturing industry experience required
  • ERP financials experience
  • 1+ year of Project management experience required

Qualities in a candidate:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience
  • Project management methodology (agile, scrum, waterfall, etc.)
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to travel (predominantly domestic, but some international will be required)
  • 5+ years of professional experience in related field desired
  • Ability to solve problems independently using prior knowledge, publications, the internet, vendor support with escalation to manager if needed
  • Ability to effectively manage contracted resources
  • Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner; gather and analyze information skillfully; use reason when dealing with emotional situations; manage complex tasks
  • Ability to develop workable implementation plans and communicate changes effectively; build commitment and overcome resistance; prepare and support those affected by change; monitor transition and evaluate results
  • Ability to understand business implications of decisions; demonstrate market and competition knowledge
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, business journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers
