Job Description

Our client, an Investment Company in Seattle needs a Business Analyst to conduct detailed analysis, assess product and implement strategic initiatives to provide solutions that will align with the goals of the business.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Finance and Technology to create both strategies and initiatives that enhance reporting within the business and externally. Using your firm understanding of indicators for performance, forecasts, and requirement gathering you will provide key insights that will heavily influence the business decision-making process moving forward.

You will be tasked with the following responsibilities:

1. Heavy involvement with the design and modification of business system and IT system requirements

2. Ensure data quality metrics to ensure accurate reporting and business data.

3. Identify opportunities for improvements and solutions for the business in addition to proactive outline of problems.

4. Design project schedules and relevant metrics translatable throughout the entire organization

5. Pay attention to data quality, ensure business data accuracy

Requirements include:

1. Bachelor's in Business Administration, C.S., Information Systems Management, Finance or relevant area of study from a verified College or University.

2. A minimum of 3 years of experience gathering complex requirements in an enterprise organization

3. Excellent communication skills, strong interpersonal skills

4. IT service delivery background with knowledge of SDLC and all phases from inception to implementation

5. A background in Financial Services preferred.

6. Excellent negotiation skills and rapid solutions provider/problem solver, ability to balance conflicting requirements.

7. Experience using JIRA or a tool similar for requirement gathering/issue and project tracking tool.

The role is a 6+ month contract Onsite In Seattle with the potential to extend.
