Job Description

This role will begin remote and transition onsite 'post covid.' Must be a resident of Greater Nashville, TN and authorized to work in the US for any employer.

As the Business Analyst, you will also have some product owner responsibilities while participating in Scrum ceremonies. Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Act as liaison among stakeholders in order to elicit feedback on requirements and perform analysis for changes to business processes, policies and information systems.
  • Troubleshoot and solve software problems; first-responder to emergent product-related data or application issues or inquiries.
  • Support data collection, management, reporting and analysis; perform data cleaning, extraction, processing, storage, manipulation, and analyses.
  • Provide key support to Account Management, Product, and Operations teams regarding data collection, analysis and prioritization of reported issues and enhancements.
  • Write business and technical requirements for planned development work; collaborate closely with Product Owners and IT development teams to ensure proper translation of requirements into solutions.
  • Develop ad hoc queries and reports as needed.

Your Background:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience, Master's degree in a relevant discipline (Business or Information Systems) preferred
  • 8+ years' experience in a Business Analyst role
  • 5+ years working in Healthcare environment(s)
  • Working knowledge of technical software delivery life cycles (Agile and Waterfall)
  • Experience working in Jira/Confluence
  • Claims data experience - preferred
  • ETL experience - preferred
