The position will work effectively with all aspects of our business to help design, develop, and deliver actionable analyses that drive business results and strategy. The position requires a self-starter who can lead projects and deliver results that will make the organization more profitable. Our ideal candidate has the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, interpreting and translating business data into meaningful information that aligns corporate strategy and efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Identify business trends utilizing data, delivering analysis to stakeholders through various business intelligence tools.
  • Work with business functions to support the development, design and implementation of new reporting projects and procedures.
  • Gain industry knowledge and develop independent skills in various data/financial analysis tools (i.e. Excel, Power BI, SSMS, Office 365 applications, etc.) to help assist members of the team.
  • Monitor and review existing reporting platform functions and/or processes, troubleshooting and resolving potential issues.
  • Support the team in the management, tracking and documentation of internal projects. Assess and refine project management process as needed.
  • Position requires strong problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly assess and resolve potential issues.
  • Prepare routine audit of reporting tools and data sets to ensure accurate and consistent information.

Skills

  • Advanced skills in data analysis and Microsoft Excel
  • Fundamental knowledge of financial principles a must
  • Proven analytical and critical thinking abilities
  • Experience in developing reports and dashboards
  • SQL, Power BI, data modeling/architecture background a plus
  • Technical project management experience a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Flexible, team player, "get-it-done" personality
  • Ability to organize, plan, and work independently
  • Ability to multi-task effectively and work in a rapidly changing environment
  • High level of attention to detail

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance and/or technical field
