Business Operations Documentation - Consultant Position Description

This consultant requires common business knowledge versus specific expertise within HR, Planning & Budgeting, and Operations Manuals. The client has documentation of the current processes and are working to identify and document how that will shift under the new structure.

Business Operations Documentation - Project Scope

  • Broad based business knowledge experience across multiple functions; Preferably having worked with HR, Planning & Budgeting and IT groups - not as SME, but general understanding of how the groups function
  • Extremely strong documentation skills
  • Experience with process documentation utilizing Word and Visio; Adobe Pro, Plus
  • Prior experience documenting Operations Manuals, Inventive Comp, or Policies and Procedures
  • Ability/experience writing executive narratives and summaries
  • Project Management experience with understanding of Change Management, Plus
  • High level of business acumen; ability to communicate well with executive level leadership
  • Experience in working within waterfall project management is a plus

Must Haves

  • 6+ years of applicable experience
  • Self-starter and strong ability to navigate independently within an enterprise
  • Commitment to a project in San Antonio through August 2021 (on-site and remote blend)
  • Eligibility to work in the USA
  • Bachelor's Degree
