Job Description

As Business Systems Analyst, you will play a crucial role in developing complex data structures and pipelines. You will work on high-profile advanced analytics projects that drive the company's decision-making and strategy.

Job Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the business liaison to accurately capture all stakeholder requests and translate them into system specifications including functional, non-functional, user interface, reports, and external interface specifications
  • Work with software engineers to ensure that the engineering realization is in accordance with business specifications
  • Create and execute the test scripts to ensure quality of product delivered is maintained
  • Liaise with other project and program areas to coordinate interdependencies and resolve issues
  • Manage requirement risks by proactively tracking and communicating issues and identifying methods of mitigating them
  • Provide guidance to program areas on devising effective and efficient approaches to achieve project and program objectives
  • Analyze, map, and communicate current state and future state business processes
  • Support business units in the resolution of in-depth user questions and issues
  • Maintain a working knowledge of new technology and business analysis standards and practices
  • Work in partnership with IT management to define and develop documentation and business analysis artifact standards, guidelines, processes, and templates

Desired Skills/Experience

  • Risk/Predictive Analytics experience
  • Experience in setting up and using automated testing

Required Skills/Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business analysis or related field
  • Excellent documentation, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word and Excel
  • Understanding of micro-service architecture
  • Excellent conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience using SQL database and working in an Agile environment
  • Must be a team-player and a strong individual contributor
  • Ability to multitask and work on competing priorities
  • Must be eligible to work in U.S. without requiring sponsorship
