Job Description

We are seeking a Client Executive/Director for a fantastic company in Tampa, FL. Someone who can handle project management, marketing and be the right hand to the Chairman (CEO). Pay is $100k and you will be expected to work more than 40 hrs a week. The Chairman works with a small team developing business and investment strategy, and with executives running operations. The Director will support the Office of the Chairman, leading internal and external initiatives as directed by Chairman, with a focus on relationship management, marketing, and project management.

The Director should have a passion for people and relationships; unrelentingly pursue and demand perfection; be driven, adventurous, humorous, and flexible; and strongly desire a career supporting Chairman to grow his organizations. The Director must be a self-starter, with a strong ability to manage self and be self-directed. The Director must be consumed with zeal to handle a wide range of duties, including public relations, internal and external communications, and management activities. The position requires a high level of integrity as there is significant exposure to confidential and sensitive information.

Chairman will invest in the Director, and hopes for a 10+ year partnership continuously growing in value.



Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Organizing and understanding a large network of relationships, personal and professional. Manage relationships with family, friends, partners, business connections, investors, and media.
  • Maintaining and optimizing connections by scheduling meetings and events via email and phone, sending letters, personal gifts, etc.
  • Project management for Chairman's office. Organizing and coordinating all projects under Chairman's direction
  • Special tasks including marketing efforts
  • Draft, review, and execute communications on behalf of Chairman
  • Manage outside vendors and coordinate with other teammates to leverage individual capacity
  • Maintain the highest level of discretion over all responsibilities


Qualifications

Character traits, skills, experience:

  • 5+ years of experience managing high-level relationships (HNWIs, executives, etc.). Public relations, investor relations, lobbying, or similar marketing experience preferred.
  • Diligent, detail oriented, careful, presentable, organized, responsible, and forthright - Chairman should never have to check on projects to know they are being handled to high standard
  • Proactive and resourceful in executing vague or open-ended directives
  • High level of discretion, judgment, and diplomacy; Highly empathetic
  • Excellent organizational skills, including ability to organize diverse projects being performed by multiple people
  • Concise, professional, and effective interpersonal, written, and oral communication ability
  • Thrives under pressure, enjoys new challenges, not tied to status quo

Compensation, hours:

  • Salary $100k; potential for significant performance bonus. Full benefits
  • M-Sat (often outside of 8am-6pm); 50+ hours/week
