New York City-based, Managed Security Services Provider, is in search of a motivated Service Delivery Project Manager. As an IT solutions firm, Our Client is dedicated to serving medium-to-large enterprise firms in delivering fully protected network connectivity, Cyber-Defense (Compliance) protection, Cloud (private and public) services, and Next-Gen VoIP Telephony/UC capabilities. Â This is a highly technical role and requires in depth knowledge of today's cloud based technologies, inclusive of IaaS, DRaaS, VM, Unix, Microsoft Server technologies as well as others.

The Service Delivery/Project Manager will maintain and execute critical aspects of getting projects delivered on-time and on-budget. This individual will meet on a regular cadence with internal and external technical/ business/client resources to ensure that services are delivered on time, documented, personnel trained, accounting for all costs and ensuring client satisfaction.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensure that products are delivered in a timely manner, and that the quality of the goods meet delivery guidelines
  • Coordinating/managing of technical resources, both internal and 3rd-party personnel of their time against budget
  • Weekly meetings with clients to review the implementation process, to update client expectations and ensure all materials needed from the client are made available
  • Documenting of all necessary processes, procedures, project charts, training manuals, quick start guides or any required compliance information is professionally presented
  • For billing, checks invoices for accuracy
  • Provide the authorization to accounts payable department to issue payment for good purchased
  • Drives continuous improvement, and ensure implementation of "best practices"

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Project Management certification or similar experience
  • Business software proficiency, preferably ConnectWise CRM.
  • Familiarity with purchasing best practices.
  • Customer service orientation with strong people skills and a drive to negotiate and satisfy customers.
  • Experience leading requests for the quotation and bidding processes, supplier selection, contract negotiation, and contract approvals.
  • Ability to build/maintain relationships and communicate with suppliers
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Four-year college degree or 3 to 5 years project management experience preferred.
  • Experience supporting accounting procedures including receiving of goods / services, and period-end reconciliations; construction accounting experience preferred.
