Job Description

This role reports directly to the CEO. The CFO will set the financial vision in alignment with the overall strategic plan. This position has direct financial and compliance oversight of all business lines and will be expected to bring current industry knowledge to create the future vision for our client, leveraging NFP healthcare finance trends to meet the growing community need for our services.

  • Develop and oversee the implementation of all financial policies/procedures
  • Develop and maintain financial reporting system. The financial reporting system should monitor actual results vs. budget
  • Responsible for coordination and oversight of all external audits and external filing requirements (e.x. tax returns, corporate filings, business licenses, etc.).
  • Assist the HR Director with employee compensation systems and accurate reporting.
  • Responsible for cash flow planning and for assisting the CEO and the Board in developing cash investment policies/procedures.
  • Responsible for development of RFPs and related analysis and recommendations regarding the financing of all capital needs of the business
  • Responsible for coordination and planning and oversight of all aspects of the revenue cycle, General Accounting Department, Internal Audit Department, & 340B fiscal compliance
  • Responsible for preparing and presenting financial reports to internal and external audiences
  • Responsible for assistance to other management staff for the development of financial projects and feasibility studies as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • 7+ years' experience in financial leadership in healthcare
  • MBA or equivalent desirable, CPA required
  • Non-profit accounting experience a plus
  • Quick thinker, diverse experience, demonstrably innovative, change agent
