Job Description

Our Client located in Downtown Indianapolis is looking to add an account manager to their sales team. This individual will play a pivital role in the growth of the organization. This is a direct hire opportunity.

POSITION SUMMARY

Create and maintain relationships with our over 100 partners as the single point of contact. Work to understand unique conversion opportunities within each pipeline and work with the sales team to create products that will help capitalize on the high volume of daily requests from customers around the world.


KEY REPONSIBILITIES

* Oversee the "Network Life Cycle" ensuring that contracts align with the needs of the business, and that new networks rollout in an efficient and effective way.

* Work closely with client contacts to review business weekly, and help the sales team adapt its strategy when necessary.

* Manage the products being offered to clients and monitor them for alignment with our overall objectives.

* Negotiate commercial agreements, as required.

* Evaluate our internal software for effectiveness, and work with the development team to help improve the product.

* Attend industry and partner conferences on behalf of the brand.

* Generate leads, and work to grow our distribution reach by adding new suppliers.

* Communicate new client relationships internally and externally.

* Ensure that new locations are rolled out efficiently, effectively and totally across all networks.

* Create reports that demonstrate distribution growth and conversion improvement.

* Work with customer care to ensure that clients are working with the team to create solid customer expectations, and soliciting customer feedback.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

* Degree from an accredited 2 or 4-year institution, or 5 years' experience in a fast-paced, data driven work environment.

* 5+ years of experience in a sales role

* 2+ years selling commercial accounts

* Travel Industry experience

* Strong negotiation skills

* Excellent customer service and strong follow up skills

* Proven track record growing a book of business

* Direct and confident delivery of information to partners

* Natural ability to foster relationships with partners

* Ability to travel globally up to 10% of the time (up to one week at a time)

* Able to comprehend the dynamics of a rapidly changing market
