Job Description

Vaco Indianapolis has partnered with a client located in Carmel to fill a Commissions Service Representative.

This is a potential contract to hire opportunity.

Duties include, but are not limited to, commission research, calculation of commissions leading up to the commission payment and statements issued, agent maintenance, agent debt collection and abandoned property, and incoming agent service calls.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming agent service calls and make call back communications to the agents
  • Handle incoming mail and faxes and route to appropriate individuals
  • Answer emails coming into the commissions box in a timely manner
  • Route specific requests to appropriate individuals or Manager
  • Update agent's banking information/payment information
  • Respond to agents in writing to answer agent complaints/inquiries
  • Process affiliate/beneficiary info into VUE system upon completion
  • Communicate and work effectively with outside vendors as needed
  • Agent commission calculations, adjustments, and override processing
  • Agent commission garnishments, levies, and withholding processing
  • Agent debt research and collection processing
  • Agent divesting research and processing
  • Abandoned Property research and processing
  • Agent 1099 research, reconciliation, and processing
  • Reporting and account balancing processing and reconciliation
  • Meet departmental guidelines on quality and turnaround times (timely and accurately)
  • Maintain updated departmental procedures and processes

Required Experience

  • Minimum of 1-3 years related experience
  • Ability to maintain a high level of productivity and quality in all processing
  • Ability to work directly with peers to address processing issues/concerns
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • PC knowledge and proficient in Excel and Word
