Job Description

For this role as the Communciaiton Manager for our client you will be required :

- Master's or Bachelor's Degree
- Proven communications experience in a corporate environment

- Proven experience working in a multi-market environment
- Proven media/opinion contacts in local markets
- Experience in managing agencies
- Excellent oral and written communications skills
- Full fluency in written and spoken Spanish (Portuguese is a plus) and English is a must

Resposibilities -

Define an approach to sharpen our profile and protect and enhance its external reputation as a leader in digital education, by ensuring optimal leverage of regional stories and local highlights across the relevant (online) media, by ensuring an excellent relationship based on ongoing engagement with all relevant media, by ensuring a strong basic understanding amongst our stakeholders about our role and its contribution to higher education in Latin America;
Identify speaking opportunities platform to position our executives as industry experts and thought leaders and optimize materials use through in-market teams;
In partnership with the Marketing/Communications Director prepare budget plan for each program and monthly status update; and
Identify trends, risks and issues relevant to us across the region and/or specific and provide advice to management.

Develop and implement regional and country-specific communication plans - including communication goals, strategies and tactics - and determine the budget aligned with the Marketing/Communications Director;
Work as an active member of an integrated - External communications, Internal communications in-market - team charged with creating, implementing and managing communications programs in support of our objectives and business priorities;
Further build and maintain an excellent and active relationship with external stakeholders including the traditional, digital and social media, influencers, thought leaders, communication departments of universities, partners and other players
Management of agencies/consultants relationships and direct, lead and measure our in-country teams' performance;
Cooperate closely with our management and provide regular - asked and unasked - advice on issues with a possible positive or negative impact on our companies - internal and external - reputation
