Job Description


The communications specialist will provide day-to-day support of digital transformation project activities, including communications, training, user acceptance testing, web content development and content publishing in support of digital transformation projects. This individual will work with digital transformation project team members and the OCM community of practice to ensure the effective transition of all project stakeholders from a state of awareness to buy-in/adoption. Under supervision, this individual will be primarily responsible for developing and distributing communications materials, developing standards and guides, and managing a SharePoint resources website and web content.


  • Work with project team and functional experts to plan, design and execute project communications
  • Provide planning and program management support
  • Ensure communications are consistent with the company's vision, mission and core values
  • Draft global email announcements, design promotional materials, prepare/conduct briefings, and help develop training materials
  • Coordinate the sequencing of communications between various projects
  • Develop communications materials, such as fact sheets, job aids, instructional guides, Web content, briefings, and presentations
  • Support the design, development, implementation, and revision of project plans and adhere to established timelines
  • Create social media assets, including graphics and videos
  • Develop new communication tools and channels aimed at enhancing internal communication efforts
  • Responsible for developing content for the resources website, ensuring the appropriate levels of review and approval, and publishing all approved content to the SharePoint website.
  • Monitor web pages to recommend and/or develop content as needed
  • Responsible for managing the internal document repository for the project team, ensuring that all finalized documents are stored on the internal SharePoint page
  • Work with project team members and the OCM community of practice to develop standard operating procedures and process documents to improve OCM operations
  • Develop methods for measuring success of project communications and training activities; evaluate collateral and delivery methods
  • May be assigned a portfolio of applications and responsible for conducting need analysis for those applications

Job Requirements

*Position requires a bachelor’s degree •Position requires at least 3 years’ experience developing and executing corporate communications •Position requires excellent written, presentation and oral communication skills, including technical writing ability (at least three writing samples are required) •Position requires the ability to work both collaboratively and independently with internal teams •Position requires a minimum of three (3) years prior communications, change management or writing experience •Position requires solid computer skills with Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) •Position requires solid computer skills with SharePoint or related content management and collaboration platforms
