Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop effective corporate communication strategies for both internal and external stakeholders
  • Help develop and maintain the organization's corporate image and identity
  • Evaluate advertising and promotion programs to determine whether they are compatible with their organization's public relations efforts
  • Assist in creating, editing and revising press releases and researching media coverage and industry trends
  • Coordinate external and internal communications flow (memos, newsletters etc.)
  • Support event planning and execution for team conferences, leadership meetings and more.
  • Provide direct support to broad corporate initiatives including crisis and emergency communications, new hire onboarding and integration of new acquisitions
  • Consistently improve communications effectiveness by employing sophisticated use of data and analytics for all directly managed system-wide campaigns, staying informed on functional best practice and innovation

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Marketing or Business from an accredited university
  • 3+ years of related work experience in related field or role such as journalism, PR agency, corporate communications, media relations
  • Ability to work on a team and/or independently
  • Exceptional writing and editing communication skills
  • Demonstrated skills and knowledge in leveraging both digital and traditional internal channels to create impactful communications that drive awareness and engagement
  • Ability to prioritize, solve problems independently and work effectively under pressure when necessary
  • Comfortable with web-based tools and collaboration technologies as well as social media
