Job Description

Our client, a division of an industry leading Real Estate Management & Construction Corporation, is adding a new accounting position to the team.

In the role the ideal candidate will handle project accounting, payables, receivables, reconciliations, and cash management and P&L statements for the company, and more. Will interface directly with the president of the company to give updates on construction projects, financial position on projects, cash flow positions, spends/overspends, and also advise on proper accounting principles.

The position requires an Associates Degree or higher, with experience with 5 + years experience with construction/project accounting, and QuickBooks and/or ComputerEase software. The ideal candidate must also be detail oriented and very hands on in their accounting - no staff yet. Must be an excellent communicator for reporting on construction projects to President and PM's as well as strong software skills and hands on wit such - will also help upgrade the accounting system.
