Job Description

This position will perform a full spectrum of complex financial and accounting assignments and related analysis. The consultant assists with month-end close, audit support, accounting research and reconciliation, ad-hoc analysis and other projects. The consultant has an excellent working knowledge of GAAP and assists in ensuring that the principles are being practiced consistently in all responsible areas. Good communication skills are required. The candidate will be detail-oriented and highly organized. We are looking for an independent self-starter with good critical thinking skills who can take a project and complete from start to finish.


Duties and Responsibilities

GL account reconciliations, general ledger expense analysis and various journal entries

Oversee the revenue cycle accounting including A/R and analysis

Assist with the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting

Payroll analysis and journal entry for close

Calculate and review partner distributions and director/staff incentive payments

Cross train on month end duties

Assistance on annual audit and tax prep work

Oversee regulatory filings

Other assigned duties; particularly regular project and analytical work.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance or Master's Degree, CPA preferred

Knowledge of finance and accounting including GAAP

Microsoft Office proficiency and advanced Excel skills

Experience using Dynamics: Solomon or Great Plains or other ERP system
