Employer: Vaco (Onsite Vendor for Client)

Position: Content Specialist

Location: Silicon Valley/South Bay

Role Objective

Responsible for ensuring the Client's product experience meets or exceeds the Conversation Design (CxD) & framework team's established standards of quality including usability and performance.


  • Audit and create technical spec documentation for consistency and clarity

  • Create clear, concise detail oriented presentations

  • Responsible for maintaining document management systems

  • Determine the needs of end users of technical documentation

  • Study product samples and talk with product designers and developers

  • Work with technical staff to make products easier to use and thus need fewer instructions

  • Organize and write supporting documents for products

  • Use photographs, drawings, diagrams, animation, and charts that increase users' understanding

  • Select appropriate medium for message or audience, such as manuals or online videos

  • Standardize content across platforms and media

  • Gather usability feedback from customers and designers

  • Revise documents as new issues arise

Required Qualifications

  • Experience working with Google apps (gmail, docs, etc.) and strong aptitude for learning new software

  • Solution-oriented with the ability to provide creative and effective solutions through problem solving and analytical competencies

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
