Job Description

Vaco is seeking a Contract Recruiter for a great company located in the Perimeter area. This role is designed to work collaboratively with HR Business Partners and Hiring Managers to review job descriptions, discuss how the position fits into the department and develop thorough understanding of role's key objectives. This is a contract role and the pay range is $25-$30/hr.

Job Duties:

  • Develop a recruiting strategy in partnership with Hiring Managers to drive an exceptional approach to recruiting top talent in a highly competitive market
  • Implement sourcing strategies that provide a qualified and diverse candidate pool through networking, cold-calling referrals, internet sourcing and job postings
  • Manage candidate process and act as a candidate advocate
  • Engage in timely and appropriate communications with all candidates, Hiring Managers, HR Business Partners, vendors and other stakeholders to create a highly positive experience
  • Proactively build candidate pipeline for open positions
  • Create and write professional and accurate job postings for open positions for public distribution
  • Execute traditional and non-traditional recruiting methods to ensure fully qualified candidates are engaged
  • Manage accurate records in ATS database for applicant workflow
  • Heavy sourcing, job marketing, and in-person screening on a weekly basis
  • Assist with recruiting initiatives for cross-functional divisions
  • Conduct interviews, reference checking, administer assessments, and background checks as required to ensure and uphold quality candidate screening requirements

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of Recruitment experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field
  • Possess subject matter expertise on current external recruiting best practices and trends
  • Computer savvy
  • Microsoft Office/Suite proficient
  • Solid negotiation skills
  • Great interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Highly organized
